Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani's birthplace in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is one of many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae singers. Shottas was an iconic film where he was in the film along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani recorded his first album, called Like Father Like Son in 1996. It was then it was followed with Dear Dad", which reached number 1 in the British reggae charts. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces together with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue a hit cover version from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared at the Midem show (an international showcase of music) and was first staged in Miami. In the Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley's name was the subject of a bidding war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Records.
