Antonina was given a UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight after winning the first fight via unanimity. Antonina bounced off the loss by prevailing Lucie Prudilova's battle at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler by submitting a rear naked choke. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night in that bout. Shevchenko was 2-2 in her three subsequent matches she won over Ariane Lipski, while being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee.
